Job summary

Hale International in New York is seeking an experienced Senior Workday Financials Consultant / Lead for a full-time contract assignment. You will provide senior functional support across a global Workday Financials environment, focusing on Supplier Accounts, Procurement, and Inventory, while driving improvements and leading the Argentina implementation.

This role requires independent leadership, strong stakeholder management, and the ability to deliver statutory reporting and complex Workday

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide senior functional lead across global Workday Financials projects.
• Review configurations and Business Processes for gaps.
• Support backlog clearance and design improvements.
• Optimize Supplier Accounts, Procurement, and Inventory processes.
• Develop complex Workday reports including statutory reports.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to standardize processes across the global environment.
• Provide knowledge transfer and documentation for the internal Workday team.

Job description

Hale International is seeking an experienced Senior Workday Financials Consultant / Lead for a full-time contract assignment. This role will provide higher-level functional support across a global Workday Financials environment, supporting the US and six LATAM countries, alongside an ongoing implementation in Argentina.

The successful consultant will focus initially on Supplier Accounts, Procurement, and Inventory, while helping to clear the configuration and Business Process backlog, improve existing designs, and support wider global Financials initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide senior functional expertise across ongoing global Financials projects, post-production support, and the Argentina implementation.
• Review existing configuration and Business Processes, identifying gaps and recommending scalable solutions.
• Help clear the Financials configuration and Business Process backlog.
• Support and optimise Supplier Accounts, Procurement, and Inventory processes.
• Build and enhance complex Workday Financials reports, including statutory reports for live countries.
• Partner with internal stakeholders to improve and standardise Financials processes across the global environment.
• Provide knowledge transfer, documentation, and capability building for the internal Workday team.

Qualifications:

• Strong hands-on Workday Financials configuration experience.
• Deep functional knowledge of Supplier Accounts, Procurement, and Inventory.
• Broader Workday Financials experience across additional modules is highly desirable.
• Proven experience reviewing existing configurations and recommending best-practice improvements.
• Strong reporting experience, including complex and statutory Financials reporting.
• Global or multi-country Workday Financials experience is strongly preferred.
• Confident working independently as a senior functional lead.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and knowledge-transfer skills.
