Job Title: Workday Data & Reporting Analyst
Location: Redmond, Oregon
Type: Contract
Compensation: $55 - $75 hourly
Contractor Work Model: Undecided
Hours: Monday-Friday, normal business hours with some off hours required.

System One has partnered with a growing company that is seeking an expert level Workday Data and Reporting Analyst to join their team as a consultant. This organization has recently implemented Workday and is seeking a skilled individual to specifically assist in the build of dashboards for payroll, recruiting and time tracking & attendance functions. This individual is able to work remotely, but must be willing to provide expert level knowledge and collaboration to help train current team members with possible travel required. This opportunity is a contract/consulting role but does have the opportunity to go permanent/full-time pending need and fit. Essential Job Functions

• Independently collect, clean, and analyze complex HR datasets from multiple sources (HRIS, surveys, performance systems).
• Apply statistical methods and predictive analytics to identify trends, correlations, and actionable insights.
• Design, build, and maintain advanced dashboards and reports using tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms.
• Deliver regular and ad hoc reports on key HR metrics including turnover, engagement, and performance.
• Partner with HR and business leaders to translate data findings into strategic recommendations.
• Support workforce planning and talent strategy through data modeling and forecasting.
• Create and analyze employee surveys using Qualtrics.
• Lead or co-lead analytics projects focused on retention, talent optimization, and organizational effectiveness.
• Manage timelines, stakeholder communications, and deliverables for analytics initiatives.
• Evaluate and improve data collection and reporting processes to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and scalability.
• Recommend and implement automation solutions where applicable.
• Create compelling visual narratives to support HR strategy and decision-making.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Analytics, Statistics, Data Science, or a related field. Master’s degree, preferred.
• 3-5+ years of experience in Workday HR analytics, business intelligence, or a related field.
• Proven experience working with Workday HRIS systems and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
• Familiarity with programming languages such as Python or R is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a deep understanding of statistical analysis and data visualization.
• Excellent communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to convey complex data insights to non-technical audiences.
• High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Collaborative mindset with a proactive approach to continuous improvement.
