Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Workday Configuration Analyst in Houston, TX. You will configure and optimize Workday across HR modules, with emphasis on Learning and HCM, and provide end-user support for a large enterprise workforce.

The role involves designing reports and analytics, collaborating with HR stakeholders, and participating in upgrades and testing. A strong Workday background and excellent communication are essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of HRIS or HR technology experience with Workday configuration.
• Hands-on Workday configuration experience, including Learning, Talent or HCM modules.
• Strong understanding of Workday processes, configuration, and security.
• Experience building reports and dashboards for HR stakeholders.
• Excellent communication for technical and non-technical users.

Job Details

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex system challenges, partnering with business stakeholders, and improving the employee experience through technology. You'll play a key role in supporting and optimizing the organization's Workday environment, with a strong emphasis on configuration, business process enhancements, Learning module administration, and end-user support.

This is a highly collaborative position offering strong visibility across the organization, exposure to enterprise-scale HR technology initiatives, and excellent long-term growth potential.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Configure, maintain, and enhance Workday functionality across HR-related modules
• Serve as a primary resource for Workday Learning administration and configuration
• Support business process improvements and system optimization initiatives
• Create and maintain calculated fields, custom reports, dashboards, and analytics
• Participate in system testing, upgrades, releases, and enhancement projects
• Troubleshoot complex Workday issues and provide functional support to internal stakeholders
• Partner with HR, Operations, and business leaders to gather requirements and implement solutions
• Ensure data integrity and consistency across HR systems
• Assist with documentation, training, and user adoption efforts
• Participate in a rotating support schedule to assist with escalated system inquiries

What We're Looking For:

• 3+ years of HRIS, HR Technology, HR Systems, or related experience
• Hands-on Workday configuration experience required
• Experience supporting Workday Learning, Talent, or HCM modules strongly preferred
• Strong understanding of Workday business processes, configuration, and security concepts
• Experience building calculated fields, custom reports, and dashboards
• Ability to troubleshoot issues, identify root causes, and recommend solutions
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to support both technical and non-technical users
• Experience supporting large employee populations and multi-location organizations is a plus
• Experience with Workday Report Writer, Calculated Fields, BIRT, or Studio preferred
• Prior experience supporting enterprise-level HR technology environments
• Strong Excel skills including pivot tables, formulas, and data analysis
