Job summary

Motion Recruitment is seeking a Senior Integration Engineer for a Hybrid New York, NY team to design, build, deploy, and support enterprise integrations with a primary focus on Workday and Boomi, handling HR and Finance data in a secure environment.

The ideal candidate brings 4+ years of integration experience, hands-on Workday integration skills (Web Services, EIBs, Core Connectors, RaaS), Boomi expertise, and proficiency in C#, Python, SQL and API development.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of integration engineering experience.
• Strong Workday integration experience (Web Services, EIBs, Core Connectors, RaaS).
• Boomi/iPaaS experience is a must.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop Boomi processes for data extraction, transformation, routing, validation, mapping, and delivery.
• Build and support integrations across Workday HCM, Finance, Payroll, Benefits, and Recruiting.
• Configure Boomi connectors, maps, profiles, process logic, and exception handling.
• Develop and support automated user provisioning integrations with Google Workspace and other downstream systems.
• Create custom APIs, scripts, and integration components using C# and Python.
• Implement logging, alerting, retry, and error-handling frameworks to improve integration reliability.
• Monitor production integrations, troubleshoot failures, and provide incident support.
• Perform data cleansing, reconciliation, and troubleshooting using SQL, XSLT, and scripting.
• Maintain technical documentation and runbooks for integrations, deployments, and support procedures.

One of the leading providers of best-in-class information technology services and solutions is looking for a Senior Integration Engineer to join their Hybrid New York, NY team!

Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Integration Engineer to design, build, deploy, and support enterprise integrations with a primary focus on Workday and Boomi. This individual will work with HR and Finance data, develop integrations across enterprise systems, and support highly sensitive PII within a secure environment. The ideal candidate will bring strong hands-on experience with Boomi, Workday integrations, C#, Python, SQL, and APIs.

Contract Duration: 6-12-Month Contract with the opportunity for extension or conversion

Required Skills & Experience

• 4+ years of integration engineering experience.
• Strong hands-on Workday integration experience, including Web Services, EIBs, Core Connectors, and RaaS.
• Hands-on experience with Boomi or a comparable iPaaS platform; strong Boomi experience is highly preferred.
• Development experience with C# and Python.
• Strong SQL skills for data validation, reconciliation, and troubleshooting.
• Experience integrating systems using REST, SOAP, SFTP, JSON, XML, CSV, and database connections.
• Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Experience supporting production integrations, troubleshooting failures, and resolving incidents.
