Job summary

The YMCA of Northern Colorado is seeking a part-time Fitness Attendant in Boulder, CO to warmly welcome members and connect them with programs, trainers and classes. You will help keep the fitness area clean and organized while delivering friendly administrative support and participating in safety protocols.

Prior experience with youth and strong teamwork are valued, and you’ll have opportunities to learn and grow with mentorship from our program director.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years of age.
• Prior experience working with children or youth is preferred.
• Current ARC/YMCA First Aid, CPR and Blood Borne Pathogens within 30 days of being hired or able to obtain certification through YMCA.

Responsibilities

• Greet members and introduce them to staff and other members.
• Connect members to appropriate programs, trainers and classes to help reach their goals.
• Assist in keeping the fitness area tidy and organized; provide simple administrative support.
• Lead new member orientations and fitness floor orientations.
• Follow YMCA policies and procedures, including safety and emergency protocols.
