Position Description

BSU’s Athletics Department provides inclusive intercollegiate athletics and recreational programs that contribute to the recruitment, retention, and graduation of a diverse student body. We develop leaders, encourage community engagement, and strengthen the overall social fabric of the university. The Student Facility Coordinator will provide facility support and student worker assistance for various athletic and recreation facilities throughout the year.

Responsibilities

• Perform opening and closing procedures.
• Secure the facility by checking IDs upon entry to the building.
• Conduct building rounds.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Eligibility Requirements

Must be a Bridgewater State University undergraduate student registered for a minimum of six credits for the Fall 2026 semester.

Preferred Qualifications

• Firm knowledge of operational procedures.
• First Aid, CPR, and AED training certification required (training provided).
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to work with difficult people or stressful situations.

Physical Demands

Must be able to lift equipment minimum of 25 lbs.
