Job Details Summary

The Student Work Study position provides currently enrolled university students with part‑time employment opportunities that support departmental operations while fostering professional growth and skill development. Student employees may be federally funded through the Federal Work‑Study Program or institutionally funded; however, job responsibilities and performance expectations remain consistent regardless of funding source. Student Work Study employees perform a variety of entry‑level administrative, operational, customer service, research, or program support duties, depending on departmental needs.

Job Duties

• Assist with day‑to‑day maintenance and responsibilities of the assigned department.
• Responsible for clerical functions including answering phones, filing, scheduling, organizing, etc.
• Responsible for other reasonable, related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.

Physical Demands

Lift and carry 25 lbs. Frequent sitting/standing and keyboard use. Patient‑care providers may be required to perform activities specific to their role, including kneeling, bending, squatting, and performing CPR.
