Job description

The Student Work Study position provides currently enrolled university students with part‑time employment opportunities that support departmental operations while fostering professional growth and skill development. Students may be federally funded through the Federal Work‑Study Program or institutionally funded; performance expectations remain consistent regardless of funding source.

Responsibilities

• Assist with day‑to‑day maintenance and responsibilities of the assigned department.
• Perform clerical functions including answering phones, filing, scheduling, and organizing.
• Support events and programs, provide front‑line customer service, conduct data entry, and participate in light research assistance and technology support.
• Complete other reasonable, related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.

Physical Demands

Lift and carry up to 25 lbs. Frequent sitting/standing and keyboard use are required. Healthcare or patient‑care duties may require kneeling, bending, squatting and performing CPR, as applicable.
