Job summary

Stephen F. Austin State University’s Band Office is seeking a work-study Band Manager to support daily operations, logistics, and events. The student must be a current Music major, eager to learn, and able to obtain a Work-Study permit.

Responsibilities include organizing scores, setting up rehearsal spaces, transporting instruments, printing programs, and assisting with performances and football games. A valid driver’s license is required, with weekend availability.

Qualifications

• Must be a current Music major.
• No direct experience is required; training will be provided.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Work-Study Permit required each semester.

Responsibilities

• Creates scores.
• Assigns lockers, instruments and equipment.
• Maintains an updated music library log.
• Sets up and tears down rehearsal spaces.
• Transports instruments to/from the music building.
• Prints programs for ensembles.
• Drives LMB box truck to rehearsals, games, and concerts.
• Drives longer distances for ensemble travel.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
