Job summary

Olympic Sports & Spine, a leading provider in occupational medicine, seeks a Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC) to lead work rehabilitation for injured workers in South King County locations, including Federal Way. The role focuses on work conditioning, work hardening, job demand analysis, and return-to-work coordination within a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Athletic Training from an accredited program.
• Current BOC credential for Athletic Trainers.
• Current state licensure/certification as required.
• 2+ years of experience in Occupational Health, Industrial Rehabilitation, Workers' Compensation, Work Conditioning/Hardening, or Sports Medicine Rehabilitation.

Responsibilities

• Treat injured workers and develop individualized rehabilitation and return-to-work plans.
• Deliver and oversee Work Conditioning and Work Hardening programs.
• Manage rehabilitation programs for workers recovering from occupational injuries.
• Perform job demand analyses and incorporate work simulation into treatment.
• Monitor progress and provide updates to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure continuity of care.
• Communicate with PTs, OTs, claims managers, vocational counselors, nurse case managers, and employers.
• Educate injured workers on injury prevention and safe work practices.
• Maintain timely documentation in compliance with regulations.
• Participate in interdisciplinary case reviews and return-to-work planning.
