Job summary

IRG Physical & Hand Therapy in the United States is seeking a Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC) to support on-site athlete care, prevention, and recovery. You will work with physical therapists and other specialists to design individualized care plans for student athletes, document progress, and ensure safety in conditioning programs.

Qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in athletic training, NATA-BOC certification, and Washington licensure eligibility.

Qualifications

• One year as a certified athletic trainer, preferably at high school or college level.
• Bachelor’s degree in athletic training or related field; eligible for WA licensure.
• Certified by the National Athletic Trainers’ Association Board of Certification (NATABOC).
• Ability to work weekends, nights, and nontraditional hours.
• Strong time management and multitasking abilities.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate proper taping, strapping, bracing and fitting of equipment.
• Perform prevention assessments, treatment, and reconditioning.
• Carry out prescribed treatments from the patient’s physician.
• Provide referrals to IRG and allied health professionals.
• Assist with staff and physician liaisons and policy development.
• Compile injury and treatment statistics for assigned sports.
• Collaborate with strength/nutrition/wellness/therapy teams for safety and conditioning.
