Job summary

JC Automation Corp. seeks a Work Package Owner (WPO) for Site Related / Enabling Projects, Civil & Structural in the Carolina PR area.

The WPO will own a defined package from field mobilization through mechanical completion and turnover, coordinating interfaces among design, procurement, construction, and CQV teams. Key responsibilities include monitoring safety, quality, schedule, and cost; managing contractor performance; resolving constraints; and ensuring timely turnover with CQV readiness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or related technical discipline; equivalent construction and industry experience considered.
• Minimum 10 years of experience supporting complex industrial, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, semiconductor, or similar capital projects.
• Demonstrated experience coordinating multi-disciplinary construction, startup, and turnover activities.
• Strong understanding of contractor management, construction execution, quality systems, and project controls.
• Experience with systems completion, mechanical completion, turnover, and CQV processes preferred.
• Strong stakeholder management, interface management, and problem‑solving skills.
• English required; Spanish strongly preferred for projects located in Puerto Rico

Responsibilities

• Base Work Package Ownership from field mobilization through mechanical completion and turnover.
• Maintain awareness of safety, quality, schedule, cost, productivity, and risk performance for the package.
• Establish and maintain package-level execution readiness and interface tracking plans.
• Ensure Owner obligations and deliverables meet project requirements.
• Monitor contractor performance against safety, quality, schedule, and productivity goals.
• Participate in field walks, readiness reviews, and progress discussions.
• Identify and escalate performance issues through governance channels.
• Verify contractor-reported progress and support project controls reporting.
• Identify and track constraints; coordinate timely resolution with cross-functional teams.
• Coordinate interfaces with adjacent work packages and operations.
• Promote safety culture and monitor contractor compliance with safety requirements.
• Track quality trends, punch lists, and turnover readiness.
• Support planning and execution of tie-ins, shutdowns, and system integration.
• Present package status and recommendations to project leadership.
