Job summary

Duke Energy in Edwardsport, IN, is seeking a RRE Work Management Specialist I to support maintenance planning and scheduling at the plant. Responsibilities include developing weekly schedules, creating job plans, and ensuring safety and reliability.

Requires HS Diploma or equivalent, 7 years related experience or an associate’s with 3 years of experience; must have a driver’s license and respirator qualification; strong communication and problem-solving skills; proficiency with Maximo and MS

Qualifications

• HS Diploma/Equivalent and 7 years related experience, or an associate's degree and 3 years related experience.
• Driver’s License required and ability to be respirator qualified.
• Basic knowledge of power plant operation and the Work Management process.
• Working knowledge of company computer systems/programs used in Work Management (Maximo).
• Proficiency with scheduling tools and strong time management.
• Good written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance Coordination: establish and adhere to maintenance priorities and work plans.
• Planning: develop barrier-free plans and ensure materials/resources are available.
• Scheduling: develop resource-loaded schedules and lead daily/weekly meetings.
• Coordinate with Supervisors and Equipment Owners to keep job plans current.
• Support continuous improvement and safe, productive work execution.
