Job summary

Yoh, A Day & Zimmermann Company in Austin, TX is hiring Manufacturing Technicians and Engineering Technicians for an 18-month contract. The roles require hands-on work and relevant experience in electronics and electro-mechanical systems.

You'll test and troubleshoot assembly, design circuitry, prototype models, and follow schematics to support system-level and sub-system activities at our premier ion implanter manufacturer site.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in testing and troubleshooting electronics and electro-mechanical systems.
• Experience in design circuitry and prototype models.
• Ability to read blueprints and electrical schematics.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine to moderately complex electro-mechanical technical functions including design, test, checkout, fabrication, modification, troubleshooting and assembly of electronics and electro-mechanical systems.
• Troubleshoot system level and component level problems in electrical and mechanical systems and sub-systems.
• May perform new system and NPI installations and field upgrades.
• Work from schematics, diagrams, written and verbal descriptions, layouts or plans to perform routine testing and troubleshooting.
• Compile logbooks and test procedures documentation with good writing skills.

Manufacturing Technicians and Engineering Techs needed for a 18 month contract for the leading manufacturer of Ion implanters in the world located in Austin, Texas. Relevant work experience require. Must be okay with hands-on work.

What you need to have 2 plus years of experience and:

• Experience in testing and troubleshooting of assembly of electronics and electro mechanical systems, design circuitry, prototype model
• Troubleshoot System Level and component level problems in electrical and mechanical systems and sub-system
• Blueprints and electrical schematics

What you will be doing
