The Work Control Coordinator is responsible for receiving, processing, prioritizing, scheduling, and monitoring maintenance and service requests for university facilities. This position serves as the primary liaison between campus customers, Facilities Management staff, contractors, and departmental leadership to ensure timely and effective completion of work orders. The coordinator maintains the computerized maintenance management system (CMMS), tracks work performance, and supports operational planning and reporting.

High school diploma or GED;
Three (3) years of experience in facilities maintenance, work management, customer service, operations coordination, or a related field.
Experience using computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) or work order management software.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.
Strong organizational and administrative skills.
Associate degree in Facilities Management, Business Administration, Construction Management, or related field.
Experience in a higher education, healthcare, government, or large institutional environment.
Knowledge of building systems, maintenance operations, and construction practices.
Experience with preventive maintenance planning and asset management programs.
