Albany State University is a fully accredited senior unit of the University System of Georgia. Our West Campus is located at 2400 Gillionville Road, Albany, GA 31707. Our East Campus is located at 504 College Drive, Albany, GA 31705. The Human Resources office for both campuses is located on the West Campus in Building K, Suite 209.
This is manual work in the custodial care of institution buildings and facilities. Work involves the performance of cleaning and minor maintenance work in an assigned building(s) or building area. Primary responsibility is for the effective use of proper methods and materials in cleaning and caring for building areas and equipment. Employees in this class work under close supervision and work follows well established routines and procedures.
Sponsorship is not available for this position.
Weekend and after normal hours duties will be required.
1 year of custodial training, education or experience.
Must possess a valid driver's license in good standings.
Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds and work long hours at manual tasks
This position will require some evening and weekend work.
