Advocate Health is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to provide patient-centered care in a Winston-Salem, NC practice. The NP will use medical decision-making to develop and adjust treatment plans and collaborate with the medical team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

The role includes ordering/interpreting labs and performing procedures per guidelines, with opportunities to participate in research and to precept students or medical learners.

Qualifikationen

• Master’s NP degree from an accredited program
• Current state Board of Nursing RN and NP licenses
• Board certification in NP specialty
• Ability to perform complex patient diagnostic and therapeutic procedures
• Exemplary organizational and communication skills
• Willingness to participate in related duties and teaching

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

• Graduation from accredited Nurse Practitioner Master's Program

LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION, and/or REGISTRATION:

• Current applicable state Board of Nursing Registered Nurse and Nurse Practitioner license
• Board certified in NP specialty

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

1. Using medical decision-making skills to determine appropriate patient care plan.
2. Collaborates with medical team when needed for effective team-based care.
3. Order and interpret laboratory studies and diagnostic procedures. Explains the necessity, preparation, nature and anticipated effects of scheduled diagnostic and therapeutic procedures to the patient.
4. Procedural skills per department or practice guidelines
5. Opportunity to participate in basic science and clinical research projects
