Atrium Health in Kernersville, NC seeks a Nurse Practitioner to join our collaborative care team. The role emphasizes advanced clinical decision-making, patient assessment, and interdisciplinary collaboration.

You will perform diagnostic procedures, order labs, and participate in research and student precepting while upholding our mission and patient-centered values in a fast-paced environment. This position may require irregular hours and on-call duties.

Qualificações

• Graduation from accredited Nurse Practitioner Master's Program.
• Current applicable state Board of Nursing RN and NP license.
• Board certification in NP specialty.

Responsabilidades

• Use medical decision-making to determine patient care plans.
• Collaborate with the medical team for team-based care.
• Order and interpret labs and diagnostic procedures; explain procedures to patients.
• Perform department-specific procedural skills.
• Participate in basic science and clinical research projects.
• Precept students and/or medical learners when possible.
• Uphold Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist missions, values, and cultural commitment.
• Perform other duties incidental to the work described herein.

Essential Functions

• Using medical decision-making skills to determine appropriate patient care plan.
• Collaborates with medical team when needed for effective team-based care.
• Order and interpret laboratory studies and diagnostic procedures. Explains the necessity, preparation, nature and anticipated effects of scheduled diagnostic and therapeutic procedures to the patient.
• Procedural skills per department or practice guidelines
