Job summary

Kod2Kids is seeking a reliable WordPress Website Manager to keep kod2kids.com and our WooCommerce store fast, secure and converting. This part-time, remote role offers clear weekly tasks and the freedom to suggest improvements.

Your responsibilities include maintaining two WordPress sites built with Elementor, WooCommerce, WPForms and Yoast; handling updates, security, performance, and basic SEO hygiene, while collaborating with marketing and operations.

Qualifications

• 2+ years hands-on with WordPress, Elementor and WooCommerce.
• Basic knowledge of PHP/HTML/CSS/JS and WordPress hooks.
• Experience with caching, security plugins, SMTP and backups.
• Basic SEO knowledge (Yoast, Search Console, schema).
• Clear communication and reliable weekly availability.

Responsibilities

• Apply plugin/theme/core updates using staging-first workflow and perform backups.
• Implement security hardening, spam protection, user access and SSL checks.
• Fix broken layouts, forms, emails (SMTP) and plugin conflicts.
• Build and edit landing pages, course pages and job pages in Elementor/Gutenberg.
• Manage WooCommerce products, coupons, shipping, invoices and Razorpay/COD.
• Maintain WPForms (demo bookings), email notifications and chatbot settings.
• Monitor Core Web Vitals, caching and image optimization.
• Keep Yoast settings, sitemaps, schema and redirects healthy; fix Search Console issues.
• Document changes and maintain a simple changelog.

About Kod2Kids

Kod2Kids teaches Robotics, Coding, Artificial Intelligence and STEAM to school students from Class 1 to 12. We run live online classes (1:1 and small batches), in-school programs with partner schools, and we make our own hands-on robotics kits and class-wise activity books. Our learning is project-based and aligned with NEP 2020: students build real projects such as smart street lights, line-following robots, IoT devices and games, and showcase them on our Student Showcase.

Role Overview

You will maintain two WordPress sites built with Elementor, WooCommerce, WPForms and Yoast: updates and backups, landing pages, forms and automations, store products and payments, performance, security and basic SEO hygiene.

You will work with the marketing team on landing pages and with operations on store features.

Key Responsibilities

Maintenance and Security

• Plugin/theme/core updates on a staging-first routine; backups and uptime checks.
• Security hardening, spam protection, user access and SSL checks.
• Fix broken layouts, forms, emails (SMTP) and plugin conflicts.

Pages, Store and Forms

• Build and edit landing pages, course pages and job pages in Elementor/Gutenberg.
• Manage WooCommerce products, coupons, shipping, invoices and payment gateway (Razorpay/COD).
• Maintain WPForms (demo bookings), email notifications and chatbot settings.

Performance and SEO

• Monitor Core Web Vitals, caching and image optimisation.

Required Qualifications and Skills
