Job Description

Responsibilities:

1. Work closely with leadership and developers to build exceptional, SEO-friendly digital experiences in WordPress.
2. Develop front-end features using HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery within WordPress.
3. Ensure code follows the latest coding practices and industry standards.
4. Perform performance testing and optimization (PageSpeed).
5. Lead discussions, gather project requirements, and develop user acceptance testing plans.
6. Design and execute tests to optimize user experience and improve conversion rates.
7. Revise, edit, proofread, and optimize web content.

Qualifications

Required Experience & Skills:

1. Bachelor's degree (BA/BS).
2. At least 6 years of experience in website development.
3. Minimum of 4 years’ experience with WordPress, including custom plugins, post types, taxonomies, multilingual setups, and advanced use cases beyond typical blogging.
4. Expert understanding of web interactions, layouts, and responsive design.
5. Experience with GIT, LESS, SASS, DDEV, NPM, Grunt, Gulp is a plus.
6. Experience with React is highly advantageous.
