Job summary

Blacksmith Agency is seeking a Senior WordPress Team Lead to steer end-to-end WordPress projects for US clients. You will scope builds to client business goals, lead themes, templates, plugins, and blocks, and drive development efficiency using AI.

You will still write and review real code and act as the primary client-facing development voice. This is a senior, client-facing role with excellent English required.

Qualifications

• Strong WordPress development experience with PHP and front-end skills.
• Ability to scope work to business goals and communicate with clients.
• Fluent English and client-facing communication.

Responsibilities

• Scope client work against business objectives and set the build approach.
• Lead custom WordPress builds: themes, templates, plugins and blocks.
• Drive efficiency with AI across the development process.
• Be the development voice the client hears, and keep their sites healthy.
