Job summary

Ohio Wesleyan University’s Smith Center is seeking a Wordpress Support-SW student worker to keep the site updated, ensure performance, and contribute to ongoing improvements.

You will update content, fix issues, assist the lead researcher, and collaborate with two fellow student staff, including handling simple tasks like coordinating lunches.

This is a Fall/Spring, temporary, part-time role offering $14.50/hour for returning students and $14.00/hour for new students; 5 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in WordPress and training another student staff.
• Strong skills in web design principles.
• Strong ability to collaborate with others as part of a team.
• Strong sense of ownership over responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Update the Smith Center website with new content and fix issues.
• Make continuous improvements to the website.
• Support the lead researcher, including occasional faculty interviews.
• Collaborate with two other student workers on Smith Center responsibilities, including picking up lunches.
• Perform additional work as assigned by the Director.
