Job summary

Tenna is hiring a Web Platform Engineer to own the WordPress platform end to end, including hosting, plugins, security, performance, and integrations with HubSpot. You will help keep the site fast, secure, and measurable while collaborating with front-end and marketing teams.

Responsibilities cover local to production environments, uptime, Core Web Vitals, and documentation. The role emphasizes governance, audit readiness, and scalable standards.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional back-end web development with WordPress experience.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, web development, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Experience supporting a B2B SaaS marketing site and a demand generation team is a plus.
• Fluency with WordPress APIs, PHP, JavaScript, and version-controlled workflows.

Responsibilities

• Owns the WordPress back end, including custom post types, taxonomies, and plugin functionality.
• Maintains plugin strategy, upgrade cadence, and staging→production deployment.
• Manages site reliability: uptime, caching, CDN, SEO, and tracking integrations.
• Ensures website security, privacy compliance, and accessibility conformance.
• Documents architecture, runbooks, and QA standards; partners with marketing stakeholders.
