Job summary

Aquent is seeking a Web & Content Operations Specialist to provide temporary support to a communications team during a transition period. This hands-on role requires independence, adherence to established systems, and ownership of digital content and web projects with minimal supervision.

The ideal candidate has strong WordPress experience, including Elementor, excellent attention to detail, basic editorial skills, and experience managing content, assets, trackers, and project workflows.

Qualifications

• Hands-on WordPress experience
• Elementor experience strongly preferred
• Experience managing digital content, assets, trackers, and workflows
• Strong attention to detail and copy/editing skills
• Basic UX understanding and site navigation knowledge
• Experience coordinating content for newsletters or recurring programs
• Experience using project management tools (e.g., Asana)
• Strong organizational and written/verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

• Build, update, and publish pages within WordPress, with hands-on Elementor.
• Follow established templates, brand standards, and guidelines.
• Apply basic UX and site navigation best practices when creating content.
• Review web copy for clarity, readability, grammar; coordinate revisions with writers.
• Troubleshoot routine website/content issues and escalate complex needs to external partners.
• Serve as point of contact for external web agency; manage requests and status tracking.
• Coordinate content integration across related websites and platforms.
• Maintain trackers, databases, and content libraries with high accuracy.
• Manage assets such as speaker bureaus, media tracking, story banks, and SharePoint content.
• Keep information organized, current, and accessible to stakeholders.
• Document progress, deadlines, and next steps in PM systems.
• Curate content for newsletters and recurring communications.
• Support monthly media, storytelling, and communications reporting.
• Coordinate with writers and stakeholders to gather content.
• Ensure content is accurate, organized, and publication-ready.
