Working across the marketing technology stack, you will own the WordPress back end and collaborate closely with a Front-End Designer & Developer. You will help establish practical standards, documentation, and processes that support a fast-moving team and a healthy, high-performing website.
As Tenna’s Web Developer, you will be responsible for the stability, performance, security, and measurable health of the marketing site. You will oversee hosting, WordPress configuration, plugins, uptime, and the site’s HubSpot integration. You will also partner with marketing and design colleagues to deliver dependable website functionality, robust analytics and tracking, privacy controls, and ongoing technical SEO improvements.
This role combines hands-on website administration with forward-looking technical ownership. Qualified candidates will bring practical experience developing, administering, or maintaining WordPress websites, along with a strong understanding of website hosting, plugin management, and common security and performance considerations. You should be comfortable troubleshooting website issues, monitoring uptime, and coordinating changes across development, staging, and production environments.
Experience integrating WordPress with HubSpot or similar marketing platforms is valuable. Familiarity with analytics implementation, tag management, consent and privacy controls, technical SEO, and website health monitoring will help you succeed. Maintain and improve the HubSpot integration, ensuring that relevant website experiences and data flows work as intended. Partner with the Front-End Designer & Developer to support implementation, testing, and release of site changes. Establish robust tracking practices and privacy-conscious controls, and help ensure measurement is accurate & consistent.
Drive technical SEO and performance improvements, including identifying crawlability, indexability, accessibility, or loading concerns. Review changes across environments before release, keep technical documentation current, and define repeatable standards for maintenance and deployment. Communicate priorities, risks, and recommendations clearly to partners across the organization.
This opportunity offers ownership of a critical marketing platform and the ability to shape how Tenna maintains and improves its web presence. You will collaborate with marketing and design partners, contribute to practical technical standards, and see the impact of your work on site reliability, performance, and measurement. The role provides a varied mix of hands-on WordPress work, integrations, security, privacy, and technical SEO.
