Job summary

ARC is seeking a WordPress Technical Lead to helm architecture, custom development, and integrations across its WordPress ecosystem. You will oversee themes, plugins, API integrations, and hosting coordination, while driving performance improvements and modernization efforts.

You should bring 8+ years in WordPress, strong PHP/JS knowledge, and hands-on experience with REST APIs, Git workflows, and cloud hosting. Remote work is supported for this senior role.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of WordPress development experience.
• Experience with custom themes, plugins, and enterprise WordPress environments.
• Experience supporting legacy WordPress implementations and migrations.
• Hands-on experience with PHP, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, MySQL, and REST APIs.
• Experience with Git-based version control and deployment workflows.
• Experience integrating third-party applications and cloud-hosted services.

Responsibilities

• Lead WordPress technical architecture and solution design.
• Design, develop, and maintain custom WordPress themes and plugins.
• Support ACF-driven content structures and custom field implementations.
• Develop and maintain Gutenberg and block-based solutions.
• Support Divi, Elementor, and Beaver Builder environments.
• Implement API integrations and third-party services.
• Perform troubleshooting, bug fixes, and technical debt remediation.
• Support deployment, version control, and staging environments.
• Optimize website performance, security, and scalability.
• Provide technical assessments and modernization recommendations.
• Coordinate hosting, infrastructure, and operational support activities.
• Estimate effort, prepare technical work plans, and support project delivery.
