Softthink Solutions is seeking a WordPress Technical Lead to own architecture, custom development, and integrations across our WordPress ecosystem. You will guide performance optimization, hosting coordination, and modernization efforts while providing technical oversight.

The role focuses on advanced PHP/JS/HTML5/CSS3 development, REST API integrations, and supporting enterprise WordPress environments with custom themes and plugins.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of WordPress development experience.
• Experience with enterprise WordPress environments.
• Strong PHP, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, MySQL, and REST APIs.
• Experience with Git-based version control and deployment workflows.

Responsibilities

• Lead WordPress technical architecture and solution design.
• Design, develop, and maintain custom WordPress themes and plugins.
• Support API integrations and third-party services.
• Develop Gutenberg/block-based solutions and support page builders.
• Coordinate hosting, infrastructure, and deployment environments.
• Optimize website performance, security, and scalability.
• Provide technical assessments and modernization recommendations.
• Estimate effort and prepare technical work plans and project delivery.
