Domtar in Ashdown, Arkansas is seeking a Woodyard Operations Coordinator for a full-time permanent role. The position supports safety, quality, productivity and cost targets in the woodyard, including oversight of morning reports, safety meetings, maintenance coordination and capital project implementation.

The role requires strong organizational and communication skills, 5+ years of related experience, and the ability to work with large mobile equipment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required or equivalent.
• TABE, CRC or Nowlin Test required or completed.
• Post secondary studies in a technical discipline are preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years job related experience.
• Familiarity with woodyard operations is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Assist in payroll approval for hourly staff.
• Prepare morning reports and safety meetings.
• Coordinate maintenance activities and capital projects.
• Maintain computer systems relevant to woodyard operations.
• Occasionally fill the Pulp/Woodyard Manager’s Weekend Duty.
• On-call 3 nights per week due to semi-autonomous nature of the Woodyard.
• Support the Forestry Department on deliveries and issues that arise.
