Hickory Chair, LLC is seeking a Machine Operator to supervise day-to-day production in the woodworking area. The role involves managing quality and production, ensuring tools are available, and training operators on setup and operation of various woodworking machines.

You will troubleshoot operator issues, set up and operate all machines, verify measurements with a tape measure, and uphold safety policies. This position requires related experience and a focus on maintaining production standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 5 years experience running various woodworking machines for frame parts.

Responsabilités

• Manage production schedules and tooling needs for the designated work area.
• Verify employees have the appropriate tools for the job.
• Train other Machine Operators on setup and operation of woodworking machines (bandsaw, hand shaper, boring machine).
• Assist and troubleshoot operator issues as they arise.
• Set up and operate all woodworking machines in the machine area.
• Use a tape measure to verify wood measurements.
• Follow all safety policies and procedures.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
