Job summary

Closets By Design of Phoenix is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Woodworking Machine Operator to join our team in Tempe, Arizona. The ideal candidate will operate woodworking machinery, maintain equipment, and ensure quality standards. Experience in woodworking is preferred, but not required.

Qualifications

• Experience in the woodworking or cabinet-making fields preferred.
• Experience with woodworking equipment and hand tools is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Some prior woodworking experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Operate woodworking machinery and hand tools.
• Understand company product lines, machinery, assembly standards, and installation techniques.
• Follow quality and safety standards.
• Maintain shop equipment according to an established schedule.
• Understand cut lists for daily jobs.
• Additional tasks or projects as defined by the Production Manager.

Skills

Experience in woodworking or cabinet-making fields

Experience with woodworking equipment and hand tools

Excellent problem-solving skills

Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
