General Dynamics Land Systems in Sumner, WA, is seeking a Woodworker to build and repair crates, pallets and storage bins from lumber and plywood, using established cut lists or creating custom crates. You will operate hand and power tools, band saw and table saw, pack and label shipments, and perform related duties as assigned by the Supervisor.

Must be able to lift up to 70 pounds and travel as required. This role requires US citizenship, ability to obtain security access, and willingness to

Competenze

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of two years related work experience.
• Operate tools such as hand and power tools, pneumatic nail/staple guns, band saw and table saws safely.
• Read and follow established cut list and document/create cut lists for new items.
• Lift and carry up to 70 pounds.
• Forklift/crane certification by company trainer.
• Learn GDLS processes, products and military technology.
• Work efficiently in a fast paced environment with limited supervision.
• Travel based on business needs and access to military installations.
• Must be a US Citizen.
• Must obtain and maintain a General Dynamics corporate credit card.

Mansioni

• Build crates, pallets, and storage bins from lumber and/or plywood.
• Use pre-existing cut lists or fabricate custom crates around materials.
• Pack, seal, band, and apply markings per job specifications.
• Perform other related duties assigned by the Supervisor.
