MiTek Industries offers a paid, 12-week internship designed for students nearing degree completion. Interns are paired with a Manager and Mentor to work on impactful projects and present outcomes at the end of the program.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Civil, Structural or Mechanical Engineering with a minimum GPA of 3.0.
• Ownership of one or more high-priority projects to showcase problem-solving and leadership.
• Strong knowledge of algebra, trigonometry, physics, statistics and structural design.

Responsibilities

• Provide calculation-based improvements to existing engineering details.
• Research and test new methods for metal plate connected wood floor trusses.
• Design field repairs for truss components ensuring compliance with codes and safety.
• Collaborate with engineers, architects and building officials on customer projects.
