Job summary

You will manage a crew, coordinate inspections, document findings with photos and data, and liaise with stakeholders to implement recommended actions while maintaining equipment readiness. This role requires travel up to 75%, OSHA 10, and a pesticide applicator license where required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training preferred.
• Strong planning and task management abilities.
• Proficient understanding of wood pole materials, construction, decay, and safety standards.
• Exceptional attention to detail and observational skills.
• Ability to travel a minimum of 75%.

Responsibilities

• Inspection Protocol: Execute detailed inspections of wooden utility poles based on established safety guidelines and company protocols.
• Structural Assessment: Evaluate pole integrity for decay, cracks, splits, or infestations.
• Safety Compliance: Ensure compliance with safety regulations and recommend repairs or replacements.
• Reporting: Document inspection results with photos and data; record crew hours and obtain approvals.
• Collaboration: Liaise with stakeholders to communicate outcomes and support recommended actions.
