Job summary

Exo is seeking a Wood Services Foreman to lead inspections of wooden utility poles and manage a crew in field conditions. You will assess structural integrity, ensure safety compliance, document findings, and collaborate with stakeholders to implement corrective actions.

The role requires extensive fieldwork, travel up to 90%, and OSHA 10 certification, with a focus on accuracy, safety, and continuous process improvement in utility infrastructure maintenance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• OSHA 10 training preferred.
• Pesticide Applicator License required.

Responsibilities

• Execute detailed inspections of wooden utility poles based on safety guidelines and company protocols.
• Evaluate structural integrity and identify signs of decay or damage.
• Ensure safety regulations compliance and recommend repair or replacement actions.
• Record inspection information in data collection app and document hours for crew.
• Communicate outcomes to stakeholders and support implementation of actions.
• Contribute to improvement of inspection procedures and tools.
• Oversee and direct crew activities, assign duties, and ensure safety and standards.
