Job summary

Packaging Services Industries, Inc. in Williamsport, MD is seeking Wood Assemblers for our Wood Assembly Department. These full-time, first-shift roles run Mon-Thu 6:00 am–3:30 pm and Fri 6:00 am–10:00 am, with overtime as needed. No shift rotation; attendance is important.

Starting pay is $19.50 per hour, with benefits and opportunities for advancement in a safe, drug-free manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Safety first mentality.
• Ability to read a tape measure.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Experience in finished carpentry (cabinet or furniture).
• Knowledge and experience with safe operation of power saws and air tools.
• General knowledge of computers.

Responsibilities

• Assemble wood packaging to meet customer specifications.
• Operate assembly equipment and machinery safely.
• Contribute to a clean, organized work area and safety program.
