Responsibilities

• Perform quantity takeoffs for framing lumber, engineered wood products, hardware, and related materials from architectural and structural drawings.
• Build complete labor and material estimates for single-family and multifamily wood-frame scopes.
• Solicit and level vendor and supplier pricing; track lumber market movement.
• Prepare bid packages, scope letters, and estimate backup.
• Price change orders, addenda, and value-engineering alternatives.
• Participate in bid reviews and handoff to project management.
