The US Architect of the Capitol, Wood Crafting/Carpentry Branch, seeks temporary wood crafters for the upcoming 120th Congressional Moves Transition in Washington, DC. Because moves occur six days a week, overtime may be required and will be mandatory.

Job description

Located in the Architect of the Capitol (AOC), House Office Buildings Wood Crafting/Carpentry Branch. The AOC seeks temporary wood crafters for the upcoming 120th Congressional Moves Transition.

Since office moves are scheduled 6 days a week, overtime may be required and will be mandatory.Seeking applicants with journey-level wood crafting and/or carpentry skills.

You must meet all eligibility and qualification requirements by the closing date of the job announcement.

You must meet the SCREEN OUT required for this position which includes:

• Ability to perform journey-level wood crafting or carpentry without more than normal supervision

Your resume must show that you have sufficient Wood Crafter experience to perform the duties of the position as described in the vacancy announcement.
