Job description

Wood CNC Operator

Automation Personnel Services is looking for a Wood CNC Machine Operator for a manufacturing company based in Marietta, Georgia. In this role, you will operate CNC machines to produce precision wood components used in building products such as doors, moldings, stair parts, and other millwork materials.

Pay Rate

$18.00 - $20.00 per hour, based on experience

Schedule and Hours

Monday through Thursday, 6:00 am to 4:30 pm

Responsibilities

1. Operate CNC machinery to cut, shape, and finish wood components according to production specifications.
2. Monitor machine operations to ensure accuracy and report any quality issues.
3. Perform routine maintenance checks and basic troubleshooting.
4. Collaborate with team members to meet production goals.
5. Maintain a clean and organized work area.
6. Follow safety protocols and standard operating procedures.
7. Perform additional related duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications and Requirements

1. High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
2. Previous experience operating CNC machines in a woodworking or wood product manufacturing environment.
3. Ability to read blueprints, technical drawings, and job specifications.
4. Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
5. Reliable, safety-conscious, and team-oriented.
6. Drug screening and background checks are required.
