The ideal candidate will assist with recruitment, student-athlete academic and athletic goals, safety, compliance with NJCAA by-laws, and program development. A associate degree or 60 credits, valid driver's license, and ability to travel with flexible hours are required.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or 60 credits completed.
• Valid driver’s license at time of hire and during employment.
• Ability to travel and to work a flexible schedule.

Responsibilities

• Assist Head Coach with recruitment and retention of student athletes.
• Assist Head Coach in guiding student athletes to achieve academic and athletic goals.
• Assist Head Coach in ensuring safety and well-being of student athletes.
• Comply with institutional policies, handbook, and NJCAA by-laws and eligibility rules.
• Help athletes understand relationship between academics and athletics and the student-athlete concept.
• Assist with completion of all required institutional, departmental, and NJCAA paperwork.
• Contribute to program goals and direction under the Head Coach.
• Assume head coaching duties if Head Coach is unavailable.
• Be present whenever team members are assembled in an official capacity unless alternative arrangements are made.
