U.S. Soccer is seeking a Director of Talent Identification for Women’s Youth National Teams to lead the comprehensive Talent ID strategy, programs, and staff. You will guide regional managers, foster an inclusive culture, and drive data-driven decision making across national camps and youth pathways.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree or higher, a U.S. Soccer A License (or UEFA A License), 5+ years in Talent Identification, and proven leadership with strong communication and strategic

• Bachelor’s degree or higher.
• U.S. Soccer A License (or UEFA A License).
• Experience as a leader and relationship builder.
• Minimum 5 years applied experience in Talent Identification.
• Knowledge of current talent identification theory, systems and practice (domestic and international).
• Knowledge of the domestic soccer landscape and player pathways.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with professional demeanor.
• Willingness to travel and work non-traditional hours.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee aligned Women’s Youth National Teams scouting pathway and ensure quality control of selection processes.
• Lead Talent ID programs, regional structure, and national camps in collaboration with coaches and analysts.
• Develop and mentor Talent ID Managers and regional scouts; assign cycles and responsibilities.
• Collaborate across departments (Youth National Teams, High Performance, Analytics) to align strategy.
• Regularly review program effectiveness, using data to guide planning and budgeting.
