Job summary

U.S. Soccer seeks a Senior Performance Coach to support the Women’s Youth National Teams. This role delivers integrated performance services with a female lens across camps and competitions, collaborating with IPS colleagues to optimize player development and readiness.

The position advances female health, development, and performance, overseeing load monitoring, testing, strength and conditioning, recovery, and performance planning. Travel is required.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or higher in sport science or related field.
• 3–5 years in elite sport environments.
• CSCS/CPSS or equivalent certification.
• Experience with athlete monitoring and performance tech.
• Strong communication, planning, and organizational skills.
• Willing to travel domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Support integrated performance delivery for U19-U20 WYNT camps and events.
• Design and implement performance strategies to optimize readiness and development.
• Collaborate with medicine, nutrition, analytics, and technical staff.
• Oversee data collection and reporting to inform decisions.
• Travel with Youth National Teams and provide on-site performance support.
