Bethel University of Tennessee is seeking a Women's Soccer Assistant Coach to support the Head Coach in recruiting, development, and mentoring of student-athletes while promoting academic success and competitive excellence.
This role helps foster a positive team culture and ensures compliance with university, conference, and governing rules while assisting with practices, scouting, travel, and program operations.
Purpose of Position and Scope of Responsibility: The Women's Soccer Assistant Coach supports the Head Women's Soccer Coach in all aspects of the university's women's soccer program. This position is responsible for assisting with the recruitment, development, and mentoring of student-athletes while promoting academic success, character development, and competitive excellence. The Assistant Coach helps foster a positive team culture that reflects the mission, values, and standards of the University and its athletic department, while ensuring compliance with all institutional and conference regulations.

Bachelor’s degree
Previous coaching/playing experience.
Strong communication, organizational and interpersonal skills.
Valid Driver’s License
Master’s degree
2+ years of collegiate coaching experience
Work requires the physical demands of standing, bending, lifting, stooping or performing other work requiring light physical exertion (up to 30 pounds) on an occasional basis (up to 15% of time) and frequent walking; or moderate physical exertion (up to 50 pounds) on an intermittent basis (not a routine part of the job).
Work involves intermittent to occasional exposure to unpleasant working conditions or undesirable elements; may involve some contact with potentially hazardous or harmful elements in providing administrative or support services.
