Job summary

Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital, part of Lifepoint Health, is seeking a Director of Women’s Services RN to lead the department, guide staff, and ensure high-quality patient care. The role emphasizes budgeting, regulatory compliance, and strategic planning within a hospital setting in Somerset, KY.

Ideal candidates bring a Bachelor degree or equivalent experience, an active RN license, and leadership capabilities to drive improvements in clinical operations and patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree preferred or applicable work experience may be used in lieu of education.
• Active RN license in state of practice.
• BLS, PALS, NRP certifications are preferred.
• Experience in nursing leadership and departmental budgeting.

Responsibilities

• Directs department activities and resources to meet objectives.
• Develops goals, plans, and standards aligned with regulatory requirements.
• Oversees patient care delivery, service levels, and quality control.
• Plans staffing, hiring, training, and evaluations.
• Manages departmental budgets and internal audits.
• Promotes professional growth and evidence-based practices.
