Job summary

Gaudenzia, Inc. in Erie, PA seeks a Residential Counselor to support women in a 24/7 program. You will screen admissions, monitor client movement, coordinate activities, and ensure safety and cleanliness of the facility.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to interact with clients from diverse backgrounds. Training and benefits are provided by the agency.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license preferred with clean driving record.
• Ability to interact effectively with clients and aid their adjustment.
• Basic knowledge of substance use and co-occurring disorders.

Responsibilities

• Screen and process new admissions and document hourly client movement.
• Monitor client movement and sign-out records; maintain census.
• Coordinate in-house activities per program schedule and assist with chores and visits.
• Maintain daily census; report infractions and incidents to staff.
• Supervise medication administration where appropriate and conduct room checks.
• Complete incident reports and other duties as assigned by supervisor.
