Job summary

Purposelink Recruitment seeks a Director of Women\'s & Newborn Services to oversee and elevate care across Iowa campuses. You will lead clinical and administrative teams, manage budgets, and advance strategic initiatives to improve patient care, safety, and organizational performance.

The ideal candidate will be a collaborative leader, champion patient- and family-centered care, foster a culture of safety, and drive excellence in nursing practice.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher is required.
• Active RN license in Iowa (IA) or NLC.
• Any of the following DL or CDL licenses.
• ARC BLS or AHA BLS certification are required.

Responsibilities

• Lead administrative and operational functions for Women's & Newborn Services across multiple campuses.
• Develop and monitor budgets to ensure efficient resource use.
• Drive strategic planning and build partnerships to advance service line priorities.
• Oversee clinical operations, standards of care, and quality improvement.
• Allocate resources to meet service line needs and coordinate care across departments.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and specialty designation requirements.
• Use data to guide operational changes and identify growth opportunities.
• Lead department leaders with performance coaching and development.
• Promote patient- and family-centered care and a Just Culture environment.
