Job description

The person in this role will be an innovator at heart leveraging the attributes below to build and run our emerging categories strategy:

  1. Experience in retail merchandising for the Women's apparel categories
  2. Strong and structured problem solver
  3. Data driven decision maker
  4. Deep understanding of consumer/ retail sector dynamics
  5. Able to leverage technology to build and scale the product strategy
  6. Independent learner and executor
  7. Strong communicator
  8. Collaborative, especially with external partners

Qualifications

  1. 5-10 years of retail merchandising experience in the Women's apparel category, preferably with luxury expertise
  2. E-commerce experience and/or DTC experience preferred
  3. Proven track record of progressing within an organization and demonstrating continuous growth in roles and responsibilities
  4. Product obsessed with experience in leveraging data tools and external sources
  5. Critical eye to anticipate customer needs (both the "science" and "art" of retail merchandising)
  6. Highly organized, detail-oriented and analytical with focus on execution, problem-solving, improving processes and brand enhancement
  7. Continuous learner and highly curious; always open to considering new perspectives; proactive when changing course and facing added challenges
  8. Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  9. Motivated by working in a fast-paced collaborative environment, where flexibility to stretch into or out of functional comfort zones is crucial for team success
  10. Bachelor's Degree, preferred

Please note, this role will be Hybrid and our preference is that candidates live in SF. We will relocate to SF. We will also consider candidates that live in LA.
