Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years coaching experience, preferably at the intercollegiate level.
• Demonstrated ability to recruit and retain student-athletes committed to both academic and athletic excellence.
• Clear understanding of NCAA Division III philosophy and the role of athletics in a private, liberal arts setting.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
• Valid California Class C Driver’s License or ability to obtain one within ten days of appointment.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the program’s recruiting coordinator, identifying, evaluating, and recruiting prospective student-athletes who are a strong fit for the University’s academic and athletic environment.
• Maintain consistent and effective communication with prospective student-athletes, their families, and the Admissions Office.
• Organize and conduct on-campus and off-campus visits and recruiting events.
• Assist with on-field coaching, including planning practices, game strategy, and skill development.
• Manage and maintain the team’s social media platforms in alignment with branding standards.
• Assist in opponent scouting and the creation of scouting reports to inform team preparation.
