The University of Wisconsin-Superior Athletics department is seeking a Part-Time Assistant Coach for Women's Lacrosse to support our NCAA Division III program as we launch its inaugural competitive season. Part-Time Assistant Coach – Women's Lacrosse University of Wisconsin-Superior AthleticsThe University of Wisconsin-Superior Women's Lacrosse program is seeking a motivated, energetic, and organized Part-Time Assistant Coach to help build and support our NCAA Division III program as we prepare for our inaugural competitive season.This position is ideal for individuals who are passionate about coaching, recruiting, and developing student-athletes while gaining valuable collegiate coaching experience.Position ResponsibilitiesRecruiting SupportAssist with recruiting efforts throughout the academic year.Communicate with prospective student-athletes through email, phone calls, text messages, and recruiting platforms.Help schedule recruiting calls, campus visits, and prospect day events.Approximately 2–5 hours per week dedicated to recruiting activities.Coaching & Practice ResponsibilitiesAssist with planning and conducting team practices.Provide instruction and skill development for student-athletes.Support position-specific training and team development.Participate in team meetings and other program activities as needed.Fall season commitment includes approximately 16 practices.Spring season commitment includes approximately 65 hours of practice from the third week of January through the end of April.Team Travel & Game Day SupportTravel with the team and assist with game-day operations.Support student-athletes during practices, competitions, and team travel.Attend approximately 13 contests during the spring season.Competition season runs from early March through late April.
