Job summary

The University of Colorado College of Nursing seeks a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner (WHNP) for open rank Clinical Instructor/Senior Clinical Instructor/Assistant Professor Clinical (0.90 FTE) in the Women’s Health Faculty Practice at Anschutz Medical Campus. This ambulatory role provides well-woman, reproductive health, menopause, and gynecologic care across the lifespan.

Clinical teaching and supervision of students, prescription authority in CO, and participation in practice development

Qualifications

• Master’s degree required for Instructor/Senior Instructor.
• NCC certification and CO RN/APN licensure by date of hire.
• Colorado licensure must be active by date of hire.
• Experience in academic clinical practice preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide full-scope WHNP care across the lifespan in ambulatory clinic.
• Deliver outpatient care including well-woman and gynecologic services.
• Attend monthly practice meetings and participate in committees.
• Educate health care team students and participate in evaluations.
• Remain credentialed with health plans and manage credentialing materials.
• Participate in practice development, promotion, and community outreach.

Education

Master’s degree from an accredited school of nursing

Current NCC certification

Doctoral degree from an accredited school of nursing
