Job summary

Harrison Memorial Hospital in Cynthiana, KY is hiring a Medical Assistant for the Women’s Health Clinic in a day, full-time role within an RHC setting. You will greet patients, take vital signs, assist the provider, and manage charts and scheduling.

Required: High School diploma or equivalent, SRNA or CMA upon hire, BLS within 3 months, CPT/ICD-10 knowledge, and strong customer service. 1 year experience preferred. Benefits include comprehensive medical and retirement plans.

Qualifications

• High School education or equivalent is required or preferred.
• SRNA or CMA certification is required upon hire.
• BLS certification to be obtained within 3 months of hire.
• Knowledge of CPT and ICD-10 codes is preferred.
• Excellent customer service and clear communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Welcomes patients and visitors, takes vital signs, and records basic medical history.
• Assists physicians with clinical procedures and documentation.
• Prepares medical charts, scans documents, and coordinates tests.
• Manages exam room inventory and schedules patient appointments.
• Maintains patient confidentiality and handles prior authorizations as needed.
